The NanoStation loco M takes the same concept to the future with sleek and elegant form factors, along with integrated airMAX (MIMO TDMA protocol) technology. Featuring a panel antenna and dual-polarity performance, the NanoStation loco M is ideal for Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) applications requiring high-performance CPE devices. The low cost, high performance and small form factor of NanoStation loco M makes it extremely versatile and economical to deploy.
Utilize airMAX Technology
Unlike standard Wi-Fi protocol, Ubiquiti’s Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller. This “time slot” method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. It provides many magnitudes of performance improvements in latency, throughput, and scalability compared to all other outdoor systems in its class.
Advanced Software Technology
Ubiquiti’s airMAX technology is proven in millions of deployments worldwide, exhibiting outstanding performance in outdoor environments. The TDMA airMAX protocol enables unprecedented scalability, high throughput and low latency in unlicensed, multipoint networks. Up to 100 airMAX stations can be connected to each airMAX Sector, and intelligent QoS ensures priority is given to voice/video for seamless streaming.
Intelligent PoE
Remote hardware reset circuitry of the NanoStation loco M allows the device to be remotely reset from the power supply location. The NanoStation loco M may also be powered by the Ubiquiti Networks TOUGHSwitch PoE (sold separately). In addition, any NanoStation loco M can easily become 48V, 802.3af compliant through use of the Ubiquiti Instant 802.3af Adapter (sold separately).
Dual Ethernet Connectivity
With software-enabled PoE output, the secondary Ethernet port can power an external device, such as a PoE security camera, for seamless IP video integration.
Compact, Plug & Play Design
The NanoStation loco M features the compact CPE design that expanded the global Wireless ISP industry, and a quick and efficient plug and play installation. The NanoStation loco M requires no tools for assembly; only a single wrench is required for pole-mounting.
Window/Wall Mounting Kit
Use the NanoStation Mount to quickly mount the NanoStation loco M on a window or wall. 180° vertical or horizontal adjustment allows for custom positioning. The Universal Arm Bracket is designed for convenient wall or pole mounting with 90° tilt adjustment that allows for easy positioning.
Powerful airOS Features
airOS is a versatile, highly developed Ubiquiti firmware technology. It is exceptionally intuitive and was designed to require no training to operate. Behind the user interface is a powerful firmware architecture, which enables high performance, outdoor multi point networking. airOS provides features such as wireless settings, bridge or routing configuration and system management services.
airView
Integrated on all Ubiquiti M products, airView provides advanced spectrum analyzer functionality; waterfall, waveform, and real-time spectral views allow operators to identify noise signatures and plan their networks to minimize noise interference. You can even automate airView to record and report results.
airControl
airControl is a powerful and intuitive, web-based server network management application, which allows operators to centrally manage entire networks of Ubiquiti devices. Among its features are: network mapping, device status monitoring, mass firmware upgrade, web UI access, groups devices management, and task scheduling.
