This unit can be used as a wireless portable hotspot for home or office. It has a rechargeable battery to make it portable and enable it to work during power outages. It can also just be plugged in the outlet so you don't have to rely on the battery alone. If you use it with the power cord plugged into the outlet and the power fails the battery will keep the device working.
This unit will work with AT&T. Just take it to your local store and purchase a plan and they'll give you a sim card for it!
